Instructions

1ST - Spin wheel to locate your hand combination (The “front” side of the Poker Whiz Wheel (PWW) contains Suited hands and the “back” side contains Off-Suite hands, i.e. (A-Ks = A-K Suited & A-Ko = A-K Off-Suite).

2ND – Identify the color associated with your hand combination (i.e. Blue, Green, Yellow, Orange, or Red) and compare it with the legend’s recommended maximum number of opponents to play your dealt hand against.

Blue      = 9 or less opponents
Green    = 7 or less opponents
Yellow = 5 or less opponents
Orange = 3 or less opponents
Red       = 1 opponent

Note:  Passive play can be conducted by simply following the color code chart and the typical position naming convention.  To play more aggressively, utilize the PWW Enhanced Method by calculating the number of opponents at the time of your action by totaling the number of opponents at the table and subtracting # of opponents who have and/or how many opponents are anticipating a folding action. (Example:  Pre-flop, you are 4th to act (Middle Position) with 9 opponents and the first three opponent to act have folded plus one late position player is indicating a folding motion).  This situation places you into early position with a maximum of five opponents for the hand; therefore, the PWW recommends playing hands that have yellow, green, or blue background shading associated with the hand combination.

3RD – Identify the recommended “Action Code” (F, C.F, C.C, R.C, R.R) relative to the “Position Matrix” (Early, Middle, Late Position).

  F     =  Fold
C.F   =  Call an unraised pot; Fold to a raised pot
C.C =  Call an unraised pot; Call a raised pot
R.C =  Raise an unraised pot; Call a raised pot
R.R =  Raise an unraised pot;  Raise a raised pot
